πŸ’™ Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring team. The LPN provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants when an RN is not available. This vital role ensures that each resident receives the highest quality of care in accordance with state and federal regulations β€” and with genuine compassion.

🧭 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care and monitor resident health and wellness.

  • Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Medication Aides on your shift.

  • Complete charting, documentation, and physician order transcriptions accurately.

  • Administer medications and treatments safely and in compliance with facility policies.

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and team members.

  • Maintain a clean, safe environment and uphold infection-control standards.

  • Participate in care planning, assessments, and interdisciplinary meetings.

  • Respond promptly to emergencies, changes in condition, or resident needs.

  • Support residents’ rights to dignity, respect, and personal choice.

βœ… Qualifications

  • Active LPN license in the state of Nebraska (or compact state).

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN/LVN).

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to make independent nursing decisions and prioritize resident care.

  • Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor.

  • Must be able to lift, push, or move up to 50 lbs and assist with resident transfers.

  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
