💙 Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and caring Dietary Afternoon/ Evening Cook to join our Dietary Services team. This role is essential in preparing nutritious, comforting meals that support resident health, satisfaction, and overall well-being.

🧭 Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook dinner meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.

Follow standardized recipes, portion control, and special diet requirements.

Assist with food preparation for lunch and other upcoming meals as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.

Ensure compliance with food safety, infection control, and sanitation regulations.

Work collaboratively with dietary staff to ensure timely and pleasant meal service.

Respect resident preferences, cultural traditions, and dignity at all times.

Communicate effectively with dietary leadership and care staff.

Qualifications
Previous cooking or food service experience preferred (healthcare or institutional setting a plus).

Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate lifting.

Early morning availability required.
