π Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and caring Transportation Aide to join our team. The Transportation Aide is responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, as well as delivering lab specimens to the Gordon Lab. When not on transport duty, this role supports the care team on the floor as needed to ensure the comfort and safety of our residents.
π§ Key Responsibilities

Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments in a timely manner.

Deliver laboratory specimens to the Gordon Lab as scheduled.

Assist residents in and out of vehicles, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.

Maintain accurate transport logs and documentation.

Perform vehicle safety checks and report maintenance needs promptly.

Provide assistance on the floor with resident care tasks when not driving.

Communicate effectively with nursing staff, residents, and families regarding appointments and transportation schedules.

Uphold resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
β Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in accordance with state laws.

Valid Driverβs License and clean driving record required.

Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.

Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to make sound decisions and remain calm under pressure.

Must be able to lift, move, or assist up to 50 lbs.

Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
